Minister Paul Fletcher announced yesterday that NDIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rob De Luca had resigned, effective immediately.
NDS understands Mr De Luca advised the NDIA Board he had accepted a new role as CEO of Zenitas Healthcare, a community health organisation recently acquired by the private equity firm, Adamantem Capital Management and Liverpool Partners.
In advising of his resignation, Minister Fletcher acknowledged Mr De Luca's significant contribution to the NDIA during his time as CEO, commencing on 28 August 2017.
Responding to the announcement, Acting NDS CEO, David Moody said 'On behalf of NDS I want to recognise Mr De Luca's service and hard work, and his willingness to acknowledge publicly the importance of collaboration with service providers in the roll out of the NDIS. We wish him every success in his new role at Zenitas.'
Vicki Rundle, currently the NDIA's Deputy CEO, Government, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, has been appointed Acting NDIA CEO.
Noting that Ms Rundle is well-known to many NDS members for her work at the Agency, Mr Moody said, 'There is still much work to be done to ensure the NDIS gets on track. We look forward to working with the Acting CEO, Vicki Rundle, and her colleagues, and with a permanent CEO upon their appointment, to resolve a range of issues so that the NDIS delivers on its promise for all Australians.'
