I am also pleased to announce Gene Phair’s reappointment as Chairperson of the Tasracing Board. Mr Phair was first appointed in November 2018.

Mr Grose fills the vacant board position created by the retirement of Joel Wallace, who joined the board in December 2015. He is a former president of the Launceston Pacing Club and Tasracing’s representative on the Board of Harness Racing Australia and RISE Ltd.

I want to sincerely thank Mr Wallace for his six years of service to the Tasracing Board, and his active involvement with harness racing in Tasmania.
