New era for City of Willoughby with new Councillors announced

Willoughby City

Willoughby City Council is pleased to announce the newly-elected Councillors, following the NSW Local Government elections held earlier this month. Twelve Councillors have been elected across four wards, of which seven are newly-elected first-term Councillors.

The Councillors will join newly-elected Mayor Tanya Taylor in delivering the strategic vision and long-term priorities set out in our Community Strategic Plan, Our Future Willoughby 2028.

The previous term of Council, led by former Mayor Gail Giles-Gidney, has made a significant contribution to the community and steered Willoughby through a challenging period which included the Covid pandemic and major storms. The previous Council has left a strong legacy for the new Councillors to build on.

The new Councillors of the City of Willoughby are:

Middle Harbour Ward:

Cr Robert Samuel

Cr Angelo Rozos

Cr Sarkis Mouradian

Naremburn Ward:

Cr Georgie Roussac

Cr Nic Wright

Cr Anna Greco

Sailors Bay Ward:

Cr Hugh Eriksson

Cr John Moratelli

Cr Roy McCullagh

West Ward:

Cr Craig Campbell

Cr Brendon Zhu

Cr Jam Xia

The new councillors will commence their roles today with the first Council meeting in late January 2022.
