New family centre opens in Drysdale

Bella Wiyn Birralee Family Centre in Drysdale opened early April.

The integrated early childhood centre offers services including 90-place long day care, sessional kindergarten, maternal and child health, consulting rooms and a large multipurpose community space.

Bella Wiyn Birralee means "Bellarine children" in local Wadawurrung language.

The $13.3 million project was funded by the City of Greater Geelong, with $1.6m support from the Victorian Government through the Children's Facilities Capital Funding Program.
