Council will start work on a new footpath in Torakina Park and installation of hardwood bollards along South Beach Road in early February.
The infrastructure upgrades are in addition to the major upgrade of South Beach Road last year and aim to improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity.
"From early February, we will be installing new hardwood safety bollards along South Beach Road, starting near the Brunswick Heads Surf Life Saving Club and moving north along South Beach Road," Council's Director Infrastructure Services, Phil Holloway said.
"Then from around mid-February, construction will begin on a new accessible pedestrian path linking the Brunswick Heads Bridge walkway through Torakina Park to public amenities, Torakina Beach and the South Wall. The new path also provides connection to the new accessible parking bays in Torakina car park," Mr Holloway said.
"These are fantastic upgrades for the Bruns Foreshore, building on the work already completed on South Beach Road last year.
"These improvements will significantly enhance safety, improve mobility access and create stronger, more accessible links between key recreation areas along the foreshore for everyone to enjoy," Mr Holloway said.
The combined works are expected to take 10 to 12 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Council anticipates only minor disruption to residents and visitors, though temporary changes to access and traffic flow may occur at times.
