The recently constructed footpath along Hobsons Parade in Cowes will be extended along Justice Road to Church Street this month.
Work is expected to start on Monday, 24 May and take up to three weeks to complete, subject to favourable weather conditions and contractor availability. This $45,000 project is being jointly funded by Bass Coast Shire Council and developer contributions and is part of Council's 2020/21 Capital Works Program.
Appropriate traffic/pedestrian measures will be in place throughout the duration of the works and the contractor will make every effort to minimise disruption to the community while construction is underway.
