New look MySay page makes it easier to have your voice heard

The City of Ballarat is launching a new look MySay website page on Monday 30 August.

The MySay page is one of the City of Ballarat's main community engagement platforms.

It provides residents with an opportunity to have their say on current projects, strategies, and initiatives.

City of Ballarat Mayor Cr Daniel Moloney welcomed the new MySay page as a vital way to connect with the community.

"Our residents' insights are important to us so we can work towards shaping the community and developing the Ballarat they want for the future," Cr Moloney said.

"The MySay page is one of our main community engagement tools and was an important part of the Ballarat: Our Future process that helped shape our Integrated Strategic Planning Framework documents that provide a roadmap for Ballarat's future up until 2031.

"I would encourage anyone with an interest in a particular City of Ballarat project to engage with the MySay page and let your voice be heard."

The new page includes:

  • Surveys

  • Relevant documents including strategies, plans and policies

  • The ability to subscribe for project updates

  • Project lifecycles

  • Important links

  • Who's listening at the City of Ballarat

  • Key dates

  • Ability to provide submissions, feedback, and suggestions

  • Consultation findings

The new vibrant and colourful look is in response to feedback received from residents over the past year and will be much easier to navigate.

MySay will still be accessible from the City of Ballarat website homepage at ballarat.vic.gov.au.
