New Photography Competition: Bayside

Bayside Council has launched a new photography competition encouraging residents to capture the beauty of their area.

"Bayside is an amazing place with incredible open spaces, parks, beaches and wetlands that attract a unique range of plants and animals," Mayor Dr Christina Curry said.

"Our photographic competitions have always been popular, and I look forward to seeing how our residents capture the unique diversity of the place we all call home."

Budding environmental photographers will also have an opportunity to attend a workshop on how to get up close and personal with local plants and animals.

The competition has 7 categories: Open, Environmental, Waterways, Transport, Active, Neighbourhood, and Junior with a total prize pool of $3800 on offer.

Finalist will be exhibited online, and winning photographs will be printed and displayed in select locations across Bayside.

Entries close Sunday 8 October 2023
