Following high demand from Western Australian drivers, Japanese style optional plates are now available.
The Japanese plate series offers a more authentic look on Japanese vehicles or on any car to show pride in Japanese culture and honour family history.
With three colour options available: green on white, white on black and black on white, the plates have been designed to better fit Japanese domestic market (JDM) car dimensions.
The plates are customisable with up to six characters and are only available for motor vehicles.
Japanese style plates have proven popular with Japanese car owners in other Australian jurisdictions, with Japanese plates available in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
As an optional plate, drivers have the right to display or trade the Japanese series, and have it remade if lost, stolen or damaged.
