Kilmore's eastern corridor has a new lease on life after the Centenary Drive Playspace Upgrade was officially opened on Monday 28 October.
Council representatives joined Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes to officially cut the ribbon on the $190,000 Centenary Drive Kilmore Playspace Upgrade project.
Council contributed $95,000 to the project. The Victorian Government funded $95,000 through the Growing Suburbs Fund.
The completed works at Centenary Park are:
- New footpath links for more access
- New all ages play equipment
- Picnic tables and chairs
- A shade sail
- And a new landscape fit out
The new equipment was installed further away from the road to improve safety in the park.
