Nationals Member for Myall Lakes Tanya Thompson has welcomed three probationary constables and one senior constable to the Manning Great Lakes Police District following their attestation from the NSW Police Force Academy.
Robert Cain, Annie Boland, Joel Orton, and Jesse Allen have joined the district, bringing new energy and commitment to policing across the Manning Great Lakes region.
"It is fantastic to welcome these officers to the Manning Great Lakes Police District and to see them choosing to build their careers right here in our region," Mrs Thompson said.
"For some, this opportunity means they can remain close to their families and communities while taking on the incredibly important responsibility of serving and protecting others.
"We should also recognise the dedication it has taken to reach this point. The early mornings, long days of training and hard work have paid off, and each of these officers should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved.
"Being paid while undertaking training makes a career in policing more accessible, particularly for people who want to train and work in regional communities without having to relocate.
"We are fortunate to have people willing to put on the uniform and serve our community, and I wish all four officers every success as they begin this next chapter."
