New Roundabout Underway In Malua Bay

Consruction is now underway on a new roundabout at the intersection of George Bass Drive, Kuppa Avenue and Sylvan Street in Malua Bay.

Funding

This $3.3million project is funded by the NSW Government's Fixing Country Roads program and will help traffic flow and safety for all road users.

What to expect while work is underway

  • Timing: Work is expected to take a few months, weather permitting.
  • Road access: All roads will remain open, but space will be limited with large vehicles and equipment on site.
  • Traffic management: Traffic control will be in place to help vehicles move safely through the area. Directional signs will be updates as needed to reflect changes in traffic flow during different stages of construction.
  • Travel trips: Please allow an extra five minutes for your trip, drive with car, and follow all signs and directions.
