Hino Australia

Illawarra Hino has celebrated the launch of its brand-new service and parts centre at its Albion Park Rail dealership.

"We are delighted to officially open our new service centre, which has 1,470 m2 floor space and eight additional service bays, bringing the total to 14, allowing us to provide more convenient and faster servicing for our customers," said Kurt Hofer, Dealer Principal, Illawarra Hino.

"Illawarra Hino has been a fixture of the Illawarra community for over 25 years, opening as Tory Hino in 1996, before it was sold to the Tony White Group in 2009.

"This new premise shows our commitment to the local community, with an investment over $5 million meaning we can now increase our servicing capabilities by 40%," he continued.

The official opening was attended by key officials including Tony White and Hino Australia's President and CEO Sam Suda, in addition to loyal customers who were also able to experience the Hino National Roadshow.

The Hino convoy is travelling over 130,000 kilometres around the country this year, bringing its full range of next-generation trucks valued at over $3 million to a diverse selection of cities and towns.

The Roadshow is the biggest ever joint undertaking between Hino Australia and its dealers.

"The concept of the Hino Roadshow is fantastic, we showcased vehicles from across the 300, 500 and 700 Series range, while also celebrating 80 years of Hino globally," said Mr Hofer.

"The entire model line-up has received significant enhancements over the past five years, and it is a terrific opportunity for our customers to compare a selection of award-winning light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.

The new service centre is located at 1-3 Mye Place, Albion Park Rail, NSW and operates from 8:00am-4:30pm on Monday to Friday and 7am – 12 noon on Saturday.
