"Shepparton's Inner North is a busy area, especially with school and community traffic. These speed changes form part of a major project focused on improving safety and movement for all road users," she said.

"We acknowledge these works are in response to community concerns and advocacy, and we thank the community for providing us with this important feedback regarding traffic speeds, crossing safety and movement around schools, particularly during peak drop‑off and pick‑up times.

"We look forward to delivering a safer and more accessible Inner North precinct, and we thank the community for their patience as we continue to deliver this project."

Council requests that motorists be aware of the conditions and take additional care when travelling in these areas. Council would like to thank residents for their patience whilst the project is completed.
