Austrade is developing a new searchable database for students around the world to find their nearest Study Australia option leading to studies in Australia.
To participate in this global promotion, Australian education providers are now invited to submit all TNE program, online pathway, offshore partner or campus information to Austrade.
Our sector has adapted rapidly to online education and training delivery. Growth in the number and type of online programs has created a broad range of in-country pathways towards studies in Australia.
These programs provide an immediate solution for prospective and current students impacted by travel restrictions. They also support sector sustainability through diversification of source countries, leaner types and modes. In fact, the number and variety of 'start now' options can be expected to grow and to retain significance as hybrid study options in future.
Austrade is working hard to support Australian providers to secure the student pipeline. A new project, now in development, will support current and prospective students globally to find their nearest Study Australia option leading to studies in Australia. These options may include an Australian provider campus, international partner provider campus or online study centre.
A new, searchable Study Australia TNE Database will enable any CRICOS-registered Australian education provider offering online or in-country study pathways the opportunity to promote these options worldwide.
The new TNE database is designed to enhance and extend Austrade's Course Search function, which now includes wholly online programs. In addition, Australian providers are encouraged to utilise Austrade's new five year agreement with FutureLearn, in order to promote short courses, microcredentials and stackable qualifications to students around the world.
