A new Suburban University Study Hub (SUSH) has opened today in Inala, bringing university closer for students in south-west Brisbane.
Nearly half of young Australians have a degree, but not in Inala where only around 22 per cent of young people have a degree.
The evidence shows that where Study Hubs are, university participation goes up.
The new Inala University Study Hub is located at Level 1, 20 Wirraway Parade and offers support services and study facilities for local students enrolled at any university or vocational education and training provider.
The new location is part of the Albanese Government's $66.9 million investment to more than double the number of University Study Hubs across the country.
The Inala Hub joins two Suburban University Hubs at Strathpine and Beenleigh and 12 Regional University Study Hubs already open to improve tertiary access and success across Queensland.
