NEW Sydney Zoo announces partnership with St John Ambulance NSW

Sydney Zoo

The three-year partnership will see expert St John Ambulance first responders onsite with state-of-the-art equipment, and Sydney Zoo will also receive a converted St John ambulance vehicle to aid in the transportation of animals to the onsite Sydney Zoo veterinarian clinic.

St John Ambulance NSW General Manager for Events and Community Health Services, Andrew Sitaramayya, said the organisation was proud to play a role in keeping guests and staff safe at Sydney's newest major zoo.

"Our St John Ambulance responders are always a reassuring sight at venues and emergencies across the state - and our presence at the NEW Sydney Zoo will be the same. Guests and families will have confidence that they'll be able to receive first aid and medical support should they need it."
