New Tool Lets You Benchmark AI Maturity Level

Developed by Fifth Quadrant on behalf of the National AI Centre (NAIC), the new tool is a quick and easy way to evaluate your current Responsible AI level.

Complete a short questionnaire and minutes you'll receive a personalised report with:
• your organisation's responsible AI (RAI) maturity score and segment
• data benchmarking you against industry peers
• practical guidance to help advance your responsible AI practices.

Whether you're just starting out or already at an advanced stage, it provides actionable insights to support your journey.

The self-assessment tool assesses your AI practices across 5 key dimensions: accountability, safety, fairness, transparency and explainability. The self-assessment will place your organisation into one of 4 maturity levels - emerging, developing, implementing and leading.

Only 12% of Australian organisations are currently in the top 'leading' category for Responsible AI. The index and self-assessment tool are designed to help you close this gap - empowering businesses to build trust, reduce risk, and unlock the full potential of AI.
