Toyota Australia and the North Queensland Toyota Dealers have assured the future of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys inaugural NRLW squad in a milestone Principal Partnership.
The multi-year partnership will see the Toyota logo displayed front-and-centre on the NRLW Cowboys' home and away jerseys, training shirt and polo, from the start of the NRLW Premiership season in July 2023.
Cowboys Chief Executive Jeff Reibel said Toyota's investment in the club's first elite women's squad was testament to the brands' longstanding partnership to create elite career pathways for regional rugby league talent.
"Since 2003, Toyota Australia and the North Queensland Toyota Dealers have been the cornerstone of our success by supporting our Cowboys NRL squad, QRLW Gold Stars, men's and women's academy teams and NRL Cowboys House," he said.
"Their decision to invest in our newest generation of Cowboys as they embark on their inaugural NRLW season is testament to Toyota's ongoing commitment to growing North Queensland, both on the footy field and well beyond it."
Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer Vin Naidoo said the brands had built a shared legacy of connecting and inspiring regional and remote communities through football over one of the longest partnerships in Australian sport.
"For over two decades, the Cowboys name has gone hand-in-hand with the Toyota brand and its 10 North Queensland Toyota dealerships from Cairns to Mackay and out west to Mt Isa," Mr Naidoo said.
"The longevity and strength of our Principal Partnership with the Cowboys is unmatched in the National Rugby League, so it's unquestionable that the Toyota logo would appear front-and-centre of the jersey for the Cowboys newest squad, as they kick off their maiden NRLW Premiership season."

From today, NRLW members and fans can purchase the inaugural squad's away jersey, media polo and training kit, featuring Toyota's logo, exclusively from the Cowboys Team Shop online and in store.
