North Ridge Reserve, Cooma: A Place for Space

Cooma North Ridge Reserve

Council is excited to share the progress being made on the 'A Place for Space' upgrade initiative at Cooma's North Ridge Reserve.

This project is funded as part of the NSW Government's $3.6m Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund program.

The funding agreement for these much-needed upgrades to North Ridge Reserve provides $235,188 for the development, design, manufacture and installation of wayfinding signage for walking trails and restoration of a damaged walking trail.

Council is working with a local contractor who is well underway with the upgrade and restoration work. The Borrow Pits section is estimated to be completed within three to four weeks, weather depending.
