North Ridge's Borrow Pits upgrade complete

Cooma North Ridge Reserve

Council is pleased to announce the completion of the Borrow Pits Track upgrade at Cooma's North Ridge Reserve.

The upgrade project was funded as a part of the NSW Government's $3.6m Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund program, with all the work carried out by local Snowy Monaro business, Jindabyne Landscaping.

The revitalised Borrow Pits Track will allow locals and visitors alike to enjoy a safe, modern and clearly-marked trail within Cooma North Ridge Reserve – one of the district's favourite nature and recreation areas.

We are deeply grateful to the State Government for their support of this project, without which these upgrades could not have gone ahead – and express our gratitude to Jindabyne Landscaping for their hard work in challenging conditions.

With the weather warming up and at least a few clear days forecast around this renewed La Niña season, we encourage everyone in our community to dust off their boots and hit the renewed trail for themselves.
