North Terrace murder - woman arrested, South Australia

A woman has been arrested as police continue their investigation into a murder in the CBD earlier this year.

It will be alleged that just after 2am on Monday 25 April, police were called to North Terrace after a man was found lying on the road at the intersection of North Terrace and George Street.

When officers arrived they found the man had multiple stab wounds to his chest.

Sadly, the 25-year-old Victorian man died at the scene.

As a result of investigations police arrested a 17-year-old Victorian boy and a 21 year old Victorian man and charged them both with murder. The youth has since been charged as an adult and they will both next appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 14 December, 2022.

Following further investigations into the circumstances of this incident, this morning (Friday 29 July) Major Crime detectives arrested a 19-year-old Murray Bridge woman and charged her with assisting an offender.

She was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 October.

Investigations are continuing and police have not ruled out further arrests in relation to this matter.
