A 28-year-old male constable from the Northern Region has been served with a notice to appear in court for allegedly assaulting a person whilst on duty.
The member is suspended from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on January 10, 2024, charged with one count of common assault.
