NSW BIRTHS DEATHS & MARRIAGES BRINGS THE LOVE TO SYDNEY'S ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS

It's the most romantic day of the year and 61 couples are set to tie the knot through a NSW Registry of Births Deaths & Marriages wedding ceremony this Valentine's Day, including nine at the spectacular Royal Botanic Gardens.

NSW Registrar Amanda Ianna says: "The Royal Botanic Gardens has long been a lovely location for intimate gatherings. It's an ideal spot for a wedding surrounded with nature's beauty along with the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background."

Couples can also choose to be married in a historic brewery brought back to life as an Urban Cellar Door in Chippendale, Manly SLSC with its picturesque views, a waterfront cabana bar setup opposite the beach in Wollongong, or BDM's modern ceremony Registry rooms in Chippendale and Parramatta. The Royal Botanic Gardens venue is exclusive to Valentine's Day.

"It's a day of love and nothing is more special than being small part of someone's big day," Ms Ianna added.

Registry wedding packages start from $442 which includes the standard marriage certificate. To get married in Australia, couples needed to lodge their Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month in advance to comply with the Commonwealth Marriage Laws.
