The current export approval for the New South Wales Marine Vegetation Fishery (formerly the NSW Southern Cross Botanicals Beach-cast Sea Kelp Fishery) expires on 7 April 2024 and the fishery is undergoing assessment for ongoing export accreditation.
The public consultation period for assessment for export accreditation will be open from 12 December 2023 until COB 25 January 2024.
