Police have shut down a club house linked to the Nomads OMCG in Newcastle this morning, NSW Police say.
About 10.30am today officers from the Gangs Squad’s Strike Force Raptor, with the assistance of Newcastle City Local Area Command, executed a search warrant at a Nomads OMCG Clubhouse in Islington.
The Chinchen Street clubhouse was dismantled after police identified it was allegedly operating contrary to the Restricted Premises Act.
Specialist officers from the Dog Unit and Rescue Squad also assisted in the operation.
Alcohol, a bar and various other items were removed from the premises.
Police also seized amounts of prohibited drugs, which will now undergo further forensic examination.
Inquiries into the items seized are continuing and police anticipate charges will be laid.
