NSW Police Hunt for Info on Dumped Gun, Ammo, Cash in Greystanes

Police are appealing for public assistance after a firearm, ammunition and cash were found dumped in bushland in Greystanes overnight.

Officers attached to the Cumberland Police Area Command were contacted by members of the public about 8pm (Tuesday 16 January), after a bag – containing a firearm, ammunition and cash – was found in bushland off Taylor Street, Greystanes.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident, or who may have seen people in the area acting suspiciously or any unusual vehicle activity around that time, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

All items have been seized and taken for forensic examination, and inquiries are continuing.
