Members of the public are being advised road access around Bondi will be partially reopened today following the terror act earlier this week.
NSW Police established a crime scene at Archer Park, Bondi, along Queen Elizabeth Drive, following a public place shooting on Sunday 14 December 2025.
Following an extensive analysis of the crime scene and surrounding area, NSW Police will reopen some roads to vehicles and public transport from 2pm today (Wednesday 17 December 2025).
Northbound traffic will reopen on Campbell Parade, from the intersection of Queen Elizabeth Drive, where members of the public are able to access and remove their vehicles.
NSW Police continue to hold the crime scene and members of the public are unable to access the area.
- Queen Elizabeth Drive will remain closed at the intersection of Campbell Parade.
- All southbound traffic from Brighton Boulevarde to Beach Road will remain closed.
- There will be no access from Wairoa Avenue onto Campbell Parade travelling south.
Further updates about the reopening of other roads, and collection of cars and property will be provided when available.
NSW Police is working with Transport for NSW to facilitate the reopening of the roads.
Members of the public are reminded to follow all directions of police officers.
