Police are appealing for public assistance after another man was robbed at knifepoint in Sydney’s Lower North Shore last night, NSW Police say.
About 10.45pm yesterday, a 28-year-old man was walking on Russell Street, Wollstonecraft, when he was approached by three men; one of which was armed with a knife.
The man threatened him with the knife before stealing his wallet, phone, watch, laptop and headphones before the three men fled on foot.
The 28-year-old man was not injured.
Police attached to Harbourside Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
It is believed to be linked to two armed robberies committed in the same area on Monday 9 October 2017 where a 15-year-old boy was stabbed and a 28-year-old man suffered lacerations to his legs. Both suffered minor injuries.
Investigators are keen to speak with three men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
One man has been described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance with a beard and wearing a white hooded jacket.
The other two men were described as wearing hooded jumpers.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
