NSW police probe after cannabis dumped

Police are investigating after more than 30 garbage bags, believed to contain cannabis were dumped at Terry Hills yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 6.45pm today, police attended bushland in between McCarr’s Creek Road and Kanangra Avenue, Terrey Hills, following a call from the public.

Officers from Northern Beaches Local Area Command attended and found 34 garbage bags containing plants and seedlings, believed to be cannabis.

The items were seized for forensic examination.

Inquiries are continuing and police urge anyone with information to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
