NSW police probe following home invasion

Police are investigating following a home invasion at Cecil Hills yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 2.50pm today, emergency services were called to a home on Helena Circuit, following reports several men had entered the home and assaulted two residents.

Police were told up to 10 men entered the home via a garage door and assaulted two men aged 25 and 56, who were in the rear of the home.

The 25-year-old man suffered head and facial injuries and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The 65-year-old man suffered facial injuries, bruising and swelling and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The men who entered the home were seen to leave the premises in two black cars.

Officers from Green Valley Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene with forensic specialists in attendance.

Several items were seized at the location and will be forensically examined.

The incident is believed to be targeted.
