NSW police probe serious crash in Coffs Harbour

Police are investigating a serious crash in Coffs Harbour yesterday, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Orlando Street, Coffs Harbour, about 5.30pm yesterday, following reports of a car crash.

Police have been told that a white Toyota Hilux was travelling west on Harbour Street and a white Mercedes GLC250 travelling east collided.

The Toyota continued on Harbour Street, until it reached the intersection of Marina Drive, and hit stationary blue Kia Sportage.

The Toyota continued along Orland before hitting a large concrete column outside a business on Orland Street.

A 36-year-old woman who was in the Toyota Hilux was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital in a serious condition.

Officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command with the assistance of Mid North Coast Crash Investigation Unit attended and established a crime scene.

The driver of the Toyota, a 36-year-old was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital for mandatory test.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
