NSW police probe stabbing

Police are investigating a stabbing at Potts Point, NSW Police say.

About 3.30am (Sunday 21 October 2018), emergency services were called to Orwell Street after reports of a stabbing outside a hostel.

A 32-year-old man was found at the address with multiple stab wounds to his back and head.

He has been taken to St Vincent’s Hospital. His condition is not known at this stage.

A crime scene was established, which will be examined by forensic specialists.

The person who stabbed the man fled the area and has not yet been located.

Detectives from Kings Cross Police Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.
