NSW police probe up-skirting at Redfern Railway Station

Police investigating an alleged up-skirting incident at Redfern are appealing for public information to help identify a man that may be able to assist, NSW Police say.

About 12.30pm on Friday 7 September 2018, a man got off a train from Woolooware at the Redfern Railway Station and walked onto the escalators directly behind a woman.

The man allegedly began filming up her skirt.

Officers from Redfern Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man that may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 183cm tall, aged in his 30s or 40s, with short facial hair.

Anyone with information that may assist, or anyone that can identify the man depicted is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
