Police have charged a man with several traffic offences following a pursuit which ended on the Central Coast, NSW Police say.
Officers attached to Harbourside Highway Patrol attempted to stop a Toyota Hilux on Fox Valley Road, Wahroonga, just before 5am today, for a random breath test.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop, and as a result a pursuit was initiated.
As the driver neared Calga, on the state’s Central Coast, officers attached to Brisbane Water Local Area Command deployed road spikes and the pursuit was terminated.
Police arrested the driver, a 32-year-old man, at the scene and took him to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with police pursuit (Skye’s Law), disqualified driver and disobey direction.
He was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court tomorrow
