NSW Police Release CCTV Images for Granville Assault Appeal

Detectives have released CCTV images and are appealing for information after two men were seriously assaulted in Granville in late 2020.

Shortly after 9pm on Tuesday 10 November 2020, police were called to Elizabeth Street, Granville, following reports of an assault.

Police were told three men were parked in a white Toyota Hiace on Elizabeth Street. Two men approached the van and had a brief conversation about the brightness of the vehicle's headlights, before the three occupants of the van got out of the vehicle and assaulted the two men before they left in the vehicle.

One of the injured men was wounded by one of the occupants of the van.

A crime scene was established and both men were treated at hospital for their injuries, which were not life threatening.

Police have released CCTV images of the vehicle and are urging anyone with information to contact Granville Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Inquiries are ongoing.
