NSW Police Seek Missing Inner West Woman with Dementia

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Ashfield.

Shuxing Huang, aged 89, was last seen on Clissold Street, Ashfield, about 7:36 am today (Thursday 25 January 2024).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Burwood Police area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her safety and welfare as she lives with dementia and multiple medical conditions that require treatment.

Shuxing is described as being of Asian appearance, about 150cm to 160 cm tall, with a thin build, short greying hair and slightly hunched back.

She was last seen wearing a red/brown striped short sleeve button up shirt with white sleeve cuffs, navy three-quarter length pants, grey socks and light blue "Crocs" style sandals.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
