NT COVID-19 Update: NSW Advice

The Chief Health Officer is encouraging anyone who has been in New South Wales since 30 April to continually check the full list of COVID-19 case locations as they may be required to quarantine at a suitable place, effective immediately.

The list has expanded following the announcement of a second community case of COVID-19, a close contact of the male in his 50's announced yesterday.

A full list of COVID-19 case locations can be found at: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates.

Additionally, the Chief Health Officer strongly urges anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 to book a COVID-19 test immediately.

The advice to seek a COVID-19 test for anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 is particularly relevant for anyone who has arrived into the Northern Territory from Sydney since 26 April 2021.

Use of The Territory Check-In app, other QR code, or manual entry remains mandatory at all Northern Territory Venues. Territorians are encouraged to continue to use check-in systems to assist NT health authorities to act quickly and undertake contact tracing if required.
