NT Police Hunt for Info on Alice Springs Car Theft

Northern Territory Police are seeking information from the public regarding a stolen motor vehicle incident that occurred earlier this morning in Alice Springs.

Around 3:40am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of a burglary at a residential property in Ross, Alice Springs. The offenders fled the scene in the victim's vehicle.

Following the burglary, CCTV operators observed the stolen vehicle speeding through the CBD. Subsequently, the CCTV team tracked the vehicle's movements across town, before losing sight of the vehicle.

The stolen motor vehicle was later recovered by Strike Force Viper this morning, and police continue to search for the offenders involved.
