NT Police Investigate Suspicious Stuart Park Vehicle Blaze

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after a vehicle fire in Darwin this morning.

At about 2:30am, emergency services responded to reports of an explosion and a vehicle engulfed in flames at a vehicle holding yard along Ramirez Road, Stuart Park.

Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and located two new Toyota Hilux's that were fully ablaze.

The fires were successfully extinguished, and a crime scene was declared.

Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad are investigating the incident and urging anyone in the vicinity of Garden's Hill Crescent and Blake Street who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference P24018467.
