A Nundah man has been 'popping the champagne' in his head ever since discovering his $1 million bounty in a recent Weekday Windfall draw.
The Queenslander held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4655, drawn Friday 23 January 2026 and looks forward to a neat $1 million.
"That's amazing! Thank you very much," he laughed when speaking to us.
"I've been popping the champagne in my head.
"Every time you purchase a lottery ticket, you dream of winning big.
"I've always said a $1 million win would make me very happy and here I am!
"As soon as I realised the win was true, I told my wife and she couldn't believe it. She started shaking everywhere.
"This win gives me the chance to retire early and do something special with my life.
"I will keep working this year and then look to retire.
"My mother-in-law is in Vietnam, and we have some extended family there too that we would love to go visit.
"It's amazing. Thank you!"
His winning marked 16-game entry was purchased at TSG & Lucky at Nundah News, Shop 9 89 Buckland Road, Nundah.
