Police can confirm one person has died following a two-vehicle crash on the intersection of Awaiti Road and Awaiti West Road, Netherton, Hauraki this morning.
The crash was reported around 7:20am.
Sadly, one person died at the scene.
One other person was transported to hospital in a moderate condition.
The road was closed but has since reopened.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
