One person has died following a crash involving a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Rimu Road and Oregon Drive in Murupara earlier today.
The crash was reported to Police at 11am. Emergency services attended but sadly the motorcyclist died at the scene.
The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit conduct a scene examination, motorists are asked to avoid the area.
