One person has died following a crash in Taupō yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash on Te Heuheu Road just before 6:30pm.
One person died at the scene, two others have been critically hurt.
The road remains closed while a scene examination is conducted.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
