Police are in attendance at a serious crash on Boston Road, Grafton which was reported just after 4pm.
The crash involved a sole vehicle - a scooter.
One person has been transported to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition.
The east-bound lane of Boston Road, between Mt Eden Road and Nugent Street, has been closed as a result.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
Motorists can expect some delays in the area this evening.
