Police is responding to a report of a single-car crash at the intersection of Weedons Ross Road and Newtons Road, Rolleston.
The crash was reported about 4:50pm.
A person is understood to be trapped in the vehicle.
The road is blocked and diversions are being put in place.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
