Police are able to confirm that a person involved in a serious crash on Gordonton Road/Boyd Road intersection this morning has died.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a single vehicle at 7.10am. Sadly, one person died at the scene.
Serious Crash Unit have completed their examination of the crash scene and the roads have now re-opened.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
