A woman in her 50s has died following a serious crash on Bright St, Cobden, Greymouth.
Police were called to the crash between a car and the female pedestrian at around 8:45pm yesterday.
The circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
Initial reports indicated the crash involved a car and a cyclist. Police can now confirm the person who has died was a pedestrian, not a cyclist.
