Police can now confirm the identity of a person who was located deceased on Waiheke Island on Monday morning (7th June).
He was Ernő Bedő, aged 73, who was reported missing on 28th May.
Police are providing support to his family at this time and we extend our sympathies to them.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
