Police can now release the name of the man who died after a crash on State Highway 2, Napier, on Wednesday 24 April.
He was 56-year-old Floyd Tuitonga Tiepa of Hastings.
Police offer their sympathies to Mr Tiepa's family at this difficult time.
The investigation into the crash continues.
